Llamau is the leading homelessness charity in Wales, supporting the most vulnerable young people and women. We are particularly well known for working with those most at risk – care leavers, people who have been involved with the criminal justice system, people who have experienced domestic abuse and people who have had chaotic and disadvantaged lifestyles. They need high levels of individual support to help them gain the skills necessary for them to live independent and purposeful lives in their communities.

You’ll be organising and running community presentations to raise awareness of Llamau’s mission to end homelessness and domestic violence in Wales.
Key Activities
• Educating your local communities about Llamau. Delivering talks about the prevalence of young homelessness and domestic violence in Wales and the impact of community involvement
• Motivate your local community to act and support us by volunteering, donating or supporting our initiatives
• Join us at events to support us with fundraising and other tasks as required
What experience, skills and qualities do I need?
• Knowledge of your local community groups and presentation skills preferred but not necessary, as full training is provided for this role
• Enthusiastic, well organised and able to take initiative
• Commitment to raising awareness and inspiring others
• Strong communication skills
• Basic IT skills
