As you will know the COVID-19 crisis is having a major impact right across Cardiff with many of our businesses and communities affected.
One particular challenge is the increasing demand for basic food supplies, particularly to support our most vulnerable people, either those required to self-isolate or those suffering from the economic impact of the crisis.
The Council has recently established a service to respond to this growing need, sourcing and delivering a regular supply of food and other essentials during this challenging time.
Our food service has already experienced a significant swell in demand, and over 900 people have volunteered to deliver food throughout the city.
