Community Care and Wellbeing Service (CCAWS) is a local mental health charity, supporting the diverse communities of Cardiff and South East Wales.
Our Vision – A stronger community built on resilience and an increased awareness of mental and social well-being.
Our Mission – To help people learn and develop mental, emotional, social and spiritual strength for life.
We deliver 3 main services of Counselling, Befriending and Advocacy. We also run self-management courses and wellbeing groups.
Advocacy Our advocacy service can support you in accessing information to help you make informed decisions. Befriending This service connects vulnerable or isolated people in need with trained volunteers who help build their confidence, get them out and about and provide a listening ear. Counselling Counselling is a confidential, non-judgemental talking therapy that helps people to explore and overcome the causes and effects of mental and emotional hardship.
