City Hospice is Cardiff’s local hospice supporting patients with incurable illnesses in their own homes. We provide specialist care for people at home, counselling for adults and children, welfare benefits advice and day centres with a range of activities. We help our patients live life to the full and make sure that the end of their lives is as comfortable as possible.
We’re looking for volunteer drivers to transport patients to and from our hospice centre in Whitchurch from across Cardiff. Patients visit us for day groups, clinics, and therapies – and most require volunteer transport to attend these vital sessions.
Volunteers will use their own cars (expenses paid) to transport patients from their own homes across the city and transport them to our hospice site in Whitchurch. This mainly takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between the hours of 12:30 and 16:00 (approx.).
