VCS Manager
Amanda Blackwell
Youth Volunteer Adviser
Amanda is out Youth Volunteer Advisor. She spends her time meeting young people and finding out what their interests are before finding them suitable (and enjoyable!) volunteering opportunities to engage in - she is then on hand to help iron out any problems that may arise during their journey as volunteers. Amanda is responsible for the "Millennium Volunteer" programme at VCS and is here to answer questions on how young people can gain accreditation on their hard work.
If you are a young person who would like to volunteer in Cardiff, or if you are already volunteering but would like to find out more about Millennium Volunteers Programme then get in touch and Amanda will help you to plan the best route for you!
Part of Amanda's role is also to encourage and enable organisations to apply for various grants from WCVA to work with young people; so if you think your organisation could benefit from a chat with Amanda, then please do feel free to make contact, and Amanda will make time to come and visit you.
